Hi, I’m Alessa Stabile.
Welcome to Azuero Living
I’m a licensed real estate agent based in Cambutal, and I help people find land and homes on Panama’s southern coast in Cambutal, Guánico and Búcaro.
I’m also your neighbor. I live here year-round, through the dry season, the rainy season, the washed-out roads and the supply runs to Chitré. When I tell you what life is like out here, I’m speaking from experience.
How I got here
I first came to Cambutal at 17 on a surf trip. I kept coming back for years, camping on beaches and exploring every dirt road along this coast. In 2020, my husband Bryan and I moved here full time. The pandemic made the decision for us, and we never looked back.
Since then, I’ve built real relationships with the families who have owned land here for generations. That trust is a big part of how I work: I help landowners protect their heritage and connect them with buyers who will care for the land.
What I Bring To Your Purchase
I understand land, not just listings.
I have a Master's in Sustainable Development focused on natural resource management and land use. When we walk a property, I’m looking at water, access, slope and what you can realistically build, not just the view.
I’ll tell you the inconvenient parts.

I know how to build well here.
I’ve led the LEED certification of several buildings, including Panama’s first LEED Platinum building, and I served as Sustainability Director at City of Knowledge Foundation in Panama City. If you’re planning to build, I can help you think it through from day one.
I work independently.
I’m licensed in Panama and list my properties through Panama Sovereign Realty, which gives you a local agent who lives here, backed by an established national firm.
Bryan & Azuero Adventures
Bryan is my husband and business partner. He’s a biologist and serves on the board of Fundación Pro Eco Azuero, a reforestation nonprofit restoring forest across the peninsula. Together we run Azuero Adventures, a community-based eco-tourism company in Cambutal.
Between the two of us, we know this coast from the forest to the reef, and we’re happy to show you around.
